Constitutional objectives
The purpose of the Trust is the advancement of the education of the general public in the history of cycles and cycling by the provision of exhibits for a museum or museums and in furtherance thereof:- (One) the charitable purpose of the acquisition and, where necessary, the restoration, preservation and conservation of bicycles and cycling memorabilia and their presentation for the benefit of the education of the public in a suitable museum setting. (Two) the maintenance and encouragement of the education of the public in the history of cycles and cycling together with the preservation of such interpretation notices as to increase the awareness and appreciation of the history and environment of cycles and cycling and any other necessary measures to promote these charitable objects. (Three) to benefit any such other charitable object or objects in any part of the world as the Trustees shall in their absolute discretion think fit to support or establish.
