02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The objects of the charity is to promote the Village Hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of Monimail Parish and the wider area of Fife, This to be achieved without making any distinction based on sex, sexuality, politics, age. disability or other opinions. The Charity provides and maintains the facilities in order for the premises to be used for the purposes of education, social welfare, recreation and other leisure time activities or activities that improve the lives of the local inhabitants. whether they are local or within the area of Fife itself. The charity will also be looking to reduce the hall carbon footprint The charity will also maintain its land and ground as required.

Constitutional objectives
The said subjects and the buildings to be erected thereon are to be subject to the whole conditions, provisions and others contained in said Feu Charter dated and recorded as aforesaid so far as these shall remain binding and effective. The said subjects and the buildings erected or to be erected thereon are dedicated and shall be held by us and our successors as Trustees in all time coming for the purpose of physical and mental training and recreation, and social, moral and intellectual development through the medium of reading and recreation rooms, library, lectures, classes, recreations and entertainments or otherwise, as may be found expedient of the inhabitants of the Parish of Monimail in the County of Fife and its immediate vicinity, without distinction or sex or of political, religious or other opinions
