02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Following the Covid Restrictions and the sad deaths of several Trustees, including the Treasure and the Past President, There has been no significant action by the Safety Panel other than distribution of Restricted Funds, Public Liability Insurance renewal general (no cost) meetings of the Remaining two Trustees, Police Representatives, Two Local Councillors and one volunteer. This volunteer is a Bank Signatory but cannot be seen as a Trustee we have insufficient numbers to be quorate. Attempts ro increase membership have proved unsuccessful'

Constitutional objectives
The Panel shall operate with a view to actively seek ways of reducing crime within the community by: - (a) Generating crime prevention ideas and initiatives relating to identified problems. (b) Promoting a greater understanding and co-operation between the Police and the community. (c) Alerting the community to the types of crime prevalent and advising on preventative measures. (d) Stimulating public and professional interest in reducing crime.
