02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity is set up to support people impacted by cancer who live on the Isle of Arran. Services provided include transport to and from hospital appointments, a range of complementary therapies, financially supporting a NHS nurse (part-time) and maintaining a Hub where people can come and sit or talk with us.

Constitutional objectives
4.1 To relieve the suffering and distress of people with cancer on the Isle of Arran, including Holy Isle, by:- 4.1.1 Providing home care, transport and other services to those in need of support. 4.1.2 Providing skilled listening and supportive services for patients and their families. 4.1.3 Acting as facilitators for general palliative care. 4.2 To provide any other service compatible with the objects of the organisation
