02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The principle objectives and activities of the church are the public worship of God and the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in accordance with the church’s written statement of Faith. Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth. it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. God is moving and guiding His people. Opportunities to come together to worship God include the Prayer Meeting. Breaking of Bread Morning Service, Evening Gospel service, Bible Study, Youth Meeting and monthly Coffee Mornings. We have been blessed to welcome speakers from local churches as well as those serving God by leading us in worship. An Annual Church Meal as been introduced. Individually-wrapped Communion Cups continue to be used. Trustees’ Meetings and Committee Meetings are held in person. A small group of Christians united, and working together, for a common purpose. sharing the Gospel.

Constitutional objectives
(a) The advancement of the Christian Religion by the proclamation and furtherance of the Gospel of God concerning His Son Jesus the Lord and the preaching and teaching of the Word of God under the auspices of the Assembly in accordance with the Statement of Fundamental Truths (the Statement) approved by the General Council of Assemblies of God in Great Britain as that may be approved by the General Council from time to time (b) Such other charitable purposes as shall further the attainment of the above objects of the Assembly or any of them (c) The furtherance of the work of Assemblies of God in Great Britain, the promotion of the spiritual teaching and upholding of the Statement and the promotion of religious observances that express and set forth the Statement
