What the charity exists to do

Ballantrae Rural Initiative Care in the Community (BRICC) is a registered charity established in January 1998 by a local group, including Rosemary Stevenson, who recognized the need for local care facilities. The charity aims to promote the welfare of those in need in the Ballantrae community. BRICC has a Thrift Shop, which is more than just a business. it is a welcoming space where residents can come in for a chat and receive support. The charity is also working on building a care home for local elderly people to allow them to stay near their families and spend the rest of their lives in the village. The charity has raised significant funds over the years and continues to work tirelessly to support the community.
