What the charity exists to do
The Charity is set up to provide Scholarships & Funding as per the Purposes set out in Section C 1) above, by inviting relative local charities/organisations to apply for funding to be considered at the Annual Trustees Meeting

Constitutional objectives
I direct the Trustees to apply the net income of the Trust Fund for the following purposes, and I leave it to the Trustees in their absolute discretion to determine the proportion of the net income to be allocated to each purpose:- 1. The furtherance of the musical education of children or persons under twenty five years of age in the City of Aberdeen and in particular those in financial need who might otherwise be unable to meet the cost of such musical education, either (a) by awarding scholarships, bursaries or maintenance allowances to enable such persons to attend any music school, university or other educational establishment approved by the Trustees to further their musical careers, (b) by providing financial assistance to purchase musical instrmnents or music books or other material, or (c) by providing financial assistance to attend music lessons or courses 2. The provision of financial assistance to the poor, or the elderly or the homeless in the City or County of Aberdeen, all as the Trustees may in their absolute discretion decide 3. The relief of the inhabitants ·of any country and in particular the inhabitants of third world countries who are suffering poverty or hardship as a result of drought, earthquake, flood or I other natural disaster and who are in need of assistance 4. The relief of suffering in animals, whether by neglect or cruelty, all as the Trustees may in their absolute discretion decide 5. The making of donations for such other charitable purposes or to such other charitable bodies as the Trustees may in their absolute discretion decide
