To relieve thos e in need by reason of age, ill health , disability, financial hardship or oth er disadvantage by the provision of advice, assistance, advocacy and representation in matters of social welfare.To advance education, particularly among the residents throughout Glasgow and Scotland ('the Operating Area') within the fields of law, welfare rights, budgeting and financial management, and associated fields. To relieve poverty, particularly among residents of the Operating Area.(4) To promote, establish, operate and / or support other similar projects and programmes, which further charitable purposes for the benefit of the community within the Operating Area.
