02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To manage the running of the Community Centre for the benefit of the people of Skelmorlie and surrounding areas to provide facilities for recreation, social welfare and other leisure activities . To manage and maintain said Community Centre in co-operation with any local statutory authority for activities promoted by the association

Constitutional objectives
1. To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Skelmorlie and its environs by associating the local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, further health and to provide facilities, in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the aforementioned inhabitants 2. To establish or to secure the establishment of a Community Centre and to maintain and manage such a Centre in co-operation with any local statutory authority for activities promoted by the Association and its constituent bodies in futherance of the above
