What the charity exists to do

The charity is set up to look after and run the community hall in Inverie, Knoydart to provide facilities and host events and activities for the community and public to support education, community development, music, arts and culture, sports and recreation and the general wellbeing of the residents of Knoydart.

  • the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended

Constitutional objectives

4.1 The maintenance and continuance of a community hall at Inverie, Knoydart for the use of the inhabitants, community groups and visitors to Knoydart without distinction of political, religious or other opinions. 4.2 The advancement of education. 4.3 The advancement of citizenship or community development. 4.4 The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science. 4.5 The advancement of public participation in sport. 4.6 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Knoydart, their community groups and the visitors to the peninsula. 4.7 The promotion of equality and diversity
