02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity holds Loudoun Kirk, a 12th Century building, near Galston, Ayrshire. It was set up to restore the Kirk, and part if of it now has a roof, and keep it and its surrounds in good repair. It is open to the public on Doors' Open Days and we open, when requested, to local groups and school children and give them information on its history and that of Loudoun Castle.
