02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
TJC’s mission is to preach the complete gospel of salvation, make disciples, and teach obedience to the teachings of Jesus Christ. The church seeks to restore the original apostolic church described in the Bible. The church emphasizes spiritual renewal and unity in Christ as well as the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, seen in spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues, healing, and miracles. These experiences affirm the presence of God in the church. Worship services include hymn singing, biblical teaching, and prayer in the Spirit. Members participate in Bible studies, fellowship, choir, and youth and children’s programs for spiritual growth and community building.
