02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We provide an out of school childcare service for primary aged school children during school term time 3-6pm school holidays 8am-6pm Monday to Friday and in service days Generally this is for working parents/carers in further education or training but also provide respite for parents or carers who require this facility During term time we provider a daily mini bus services to collect the children from the 4 schools within our 2 mile locality and bring them safely to the club An escort travels with the children On arrival we greet the children have them go wash their hands before they sit down to enjoy a snack which they themselves make choices for their daily menu In the winter time it is often a hot snack After snack the children can then enjoy a wide range of activities both indoors and outdoors With staff, by themselves, or with some friends Our facility is secure with a nice bright indoor area and outdoor area where we have goal posts either end
