(a) To purchase and retain Portencross Castle and the surrounding land for public benefit within a form of public ownership by way of a trust adnunistered by a board of trustees (b) To maintain the Castle as a stable ruin or permit its restoration provided there is a benefit to the community as a whole (c) to ensure that there continues to be free public access to the foreshore and land around the Castle (d) To permit public access within the Castle for educational purposes
