What the charity exists to do
Our charity is set up to protect our properties for our community and their future. We engage with volunteers and experts to ensure the integrity, structure and longevity of our properties. We rent out facilities, hold workshops and apply for grants to help us fulfil our role.

Constitutional objectives
(i) to relieve poverty. (ii) to advance education. (iii) to protect, conserve, regenerate and promote, for the benefit of the public, the restoration of the native woodlands, including their flora and fauna, and other assets in the Parish of Birse, Aberdeenshire, as an important part of Scotland's natural environment. and (iv) to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the said Parish and its environs and members of the public generally, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions by associating with the local authorities, voluntary organisations and said inhabitants in a common effort to provide, or assist in the provision of, facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants by
