Development of the site and facilities of Hallhill Sports Centre and part of Lochend woods for the benefit of the local community

4. Objects The Company's objects are restricted to those set out in the article (but subject to article 5). A. the Company is established for charitable objects and purposes only. B. In particular, the Company is established for the following objects:- To encourage cross community endeavours to provide leisure, cultural and educational opportunities for the inhabitants of Dunbar and environs and in particular improve the conditions of life for those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, social and economic or other disadvantage by:- (i) the promotion, organisation, provision and management, whether as principal or otherwise, of services and facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation. and (ii) the preservation, enhancement and interpretation of the build and natural heritage of Dunbar and environs, whether as principal or otherwise, to foster a community sense of place through the public enjoyment of and advancement of education about heritage.
