Constitutional objectives
The said subjects and buildings to be erected thereon, hereinafter referred to as 'the trust subjects' are dedicated to the memory of the men of Toward and Loch Striven who gave their lives in the World War of 1939-1946 arid shall be known as 'The Toward and loch Striven Memorial Hall', and shall be held by the said Trustees and the successors of the said Trustees in all time coming for the purposes of physical and mental training and recreation, and social, moral,and intellectual development through the medium of reading,and recreation rooms, library, lectures, classes, recreations and entertainments or otherWise as may be found expedient for the inhabitants of the districts of Toward and Loch Striven between Chapel Hall and Loch Striven-Head in the Parishes of Dunoon, Kilmun and Inverchaolain in the County of Argyll, that is within the area now or formerly comprised by the estates of Knockdow, Castle Toward and Glenstriven in said Parishes and county, without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions, subject to the provisions of these presents
