THE OBJECT OF THE CLUB WILL BE TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF REGISTERED BLIND AND PARTIALLY SIGHTED PERSONS LIVING IN THE AREA, IN ANY MANNER WHICH IS NOW OR HEREAFTER MAYBE DEEMED BY LAW TO BE CHARITABLE AND IN PARTICULAR, BY PROVIDING, OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID PERSONS
