What the charity exists to do

Our charitable aims are to: Nurture the mental health and wellbeing of children through songs. Resource adults who work with children with effective songs, resources and approaches. Provide families with songs that support health and wellbeing. We do this through the following activities: Fischy Music Online Fischy Music School Events Fischy Song Writing Projects Providing music for children and their families through music streaming platforms and live events Training teachers and children's workers

Constitutional objectives

This clause shall be interpreted as if it incorporated an over riding qualification limiting the powers of the Company such that any activity which would otherwise be permitted by the terms of the clause may be carried on only if that activity furthers a purpose which is regarded as charitable for the purposes of section 505 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 and the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 (the 'Act') (lncluding any statutory amendment or re enactments for the time being In force) Subject to that over riding qualification, the Company's object is to promote, amongst children, regardless of outlook on life or religious belief the development of a healthy emotional, mental, physical and and spirituaI life harmony, based on the principles of building an awareness of self and of other people, positive self esteem, respect for others, prevention of bullying and the equality of all people, healthy relationships and caring, just, responsible and supportive communities which aim to reconcile differences. creative use of music, song, actions, signing, drama, poetry and mime, to build up and support children and their communities. and effective personal, social, religious and moral education
