02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To advance education in the arts and to provide facilities in the interest of social and cultural welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation and in particular to promote drama, music, other performing arts and art generally for the benefit primarily of the inhabitants of Aberdeen and its environs. We achieve this through provision of educational expertise, provion of opportunity and appropriate performance spaces, including 350 seater auditorium, historic childrens thetare and various studio spaces and gallery. We host a diverse mixture of our local community groups. Provision of quality, affordable and accessible theatre and touring productions.
