What the charity exists to do
Thornton Rose provides riding opportunities for people of all ages and disabilities to enjoy a safe, stimulating, therapeutic and recreational sport. We are a member of the Riding for the Disabled Association, where our vision is to improve the lives of people with disabilities through activities connected with horses

Constitutional objectives

The organisation’s purpose is to promote the objects of the Riding for the Disabled Association incorporating Carriage Driving (Company No 5010395) a charity registered under Charity Number SC039473 (“the Company”) by providing disabled people with the opportunity to ride and/or to carriage drive to benefit their health and wellbeing in the Edinburgh and Borders area.
