02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We teach disabled children, young people and adults to horse ride to the best of their ability. Our lessons include some horse care, and our more able riders also groom and tack up. We have group competitions - dressage, handy pony and horse care & knowledge - which goes towards our end of year Prize Giving.

The objects for which the Company is established are to promote the objects of the Riding for the Disabled Association incorporating Carriage Driving a charity registered under Charity Number 244108 ('RDA) by providing disabled people with the opportunity to ride andlor to carriage drive to benefit their health and well being in the Angus area
