02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Charity is set up to provide a carriage driving experience for disabled persons. We meet weekly and go out driving with specially adapted carriages, depending on the disability. We have a coach sitting alongside and a backstep as well as support on bikes to ensue safety. We also have a cup of tea and a cake to spend some social time with the drivers and their carers

Constitutional objectives
The organisation’s purpose is to promote the objects of the Riding for the Disabled Association incorporating Carriage Driving (Company No 5010395) a charity registered under Charity Number SC039473 (“the Company”) by providing disabled people with the opportunity to ride and/or to carriage drive to benefit their health and wellbeing in the Dumfies and Galloway area
