02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Following legal advice, the charity was established to provide scholarships to undergraduate students at the University of Edinburgh who would not usually consider or be able to attend university. Support will also be available to all those who could potentially make a wider contribution to society. The charity will only become an active grant-making trust when it receives the funds from the 2 principal donors post deaths. There is and will be no income or expenditure until such time.
