What the charity exists to do

LIFT@ Muirhouse Millennium Centre offers a wrap around support service to families and individuals on a Low income including in work support and employability support.

Constitutional objectives

7.1 the Company has been formed to benefit the communities of North Edinburgh (“the Community”) with the Purposes listed in the sub-articles hereto (“the Objects”), namely: 7.1.1 To relieve poverty among the residents of the Community. 7.1.2 To provide recreational activities and facilities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the residents the Community. 7.1.3 To promote education among the residents of the Community through events, classes, presentations for the public benefit and/or to provide training in skills of all kinds, particularly such skills as will assist residents of the Community in obtaining paid employment. 7.1.4 the advancement of citizenship or community development, through providing a central venue for community activities and encouraging volunteering.
