02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity's mission is to help and encourage everyone in Lochaber to live more sustainably. Active Travel projects include refurbishing and rehoming bikes, running a 'library of things', teaching bike maintenance, engaging with businesses and schools/community groups and attending events with a pop up stall. The Highland Community waste project covers composting and food waste. Food Lochaber sells locally produced food on behalf of a variety of suppliers.

Constitutional objectives
