The charity is a national development agency fostering artist and audience engagement with all forms of new media practice. Its principal activities comprise the facilitation and application of new technologies to the creation of artworks. The charity supports artists' work in art and technology. It provides information services, promotes critical debate and aids research and development in contemporary arts practice in relation to technology. It builds awareness for the art and technology sector in Scotland.
