02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Ocean Youth Trust Scotland is a leading provider of youth work at sea. Through our adventurous and challenging residential voyages, we aim to deliver life changing experiences for our young people, in a safe, effective and efficient way. Our Strategy has five key themes, and each theme has several defined outcomes against which we can measure our progress. We aim to develop our youth work. We invest in our people, both staff and volunteers. We continue to maintain our vessels to the highest standard whilst recognising that a new replacement vessel will be required at a future date. We work hard at creating a sustainable organisation. We continue to raise our profile and build our reputation.
