02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our principal function is to deliver Advanced Driver courses for Associate Members towards them taking and passing the IAM-Roadsmart Advanced Driving Test for car (the test is examined by a qualified IAM-RS examiner. We also aim to raise the visibility of road safety for all road users, in particular to raise the appreciation of safer and more skilled driving in car drivers. IAM-Roadsmart is a seperate charity (registered in England) with whom Tayside Advanced Motorists is an affilte not a subsidiary.
