02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity aims to promote the history and culture of the Scottish Slate Islands, with it main focus on Easdale. It has owns a small heritage centre and museum at Ellenabeich, which is open to the public April-October and which is staffed by volunteers. Apart 6,000 visitors a year visit the museum.
