02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The hall is an important community space run to provide the residents of the local area of Staffin with recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. The hall is used by regular community users, leased for temporary events, contains a gym, and the building also provides an important service in the form of a local community shop. We lease part of the premises to an external business who run a popular cafe.
