02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We are set up to offer one to one counselling to individuals with alcohol issues or affected by others alcohol misuse. We also offer couple counselling. We deliver an award winning schools programme, Boozebusters, to Primary 6 and 7 children. We have ongoing group work offering social support and a Well being garden for gardening opportunities. We have a Community links worker who offers Peer Mentoring and enables individuals to access Recovery Initiatives.

Constitutional objectives
(1) To relieve the needs, suffering and distress of individuals resident in Glasgow (the operating area) who are suffering from or who have suffered from alcohol addiction, and their carers and/or families. (2) To advance education and in particular to raise awareness and provide educational input, relating to alcohol, to adults and young people resident in Scotland.
