02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Rankinston Community Association: manage the community centre in the village, put on regular community events/seasonal throughout the year, prepare and deliver Christmas meals to over 60s and donate £10 per child aged 0-16yrs at Christmas time. They also host and support the Larder Group who provide low cost items to the residents of Rankinston. We meet regularly each month. The Community Association also link with partners and the local authority to support engagement activities that will benefit the people of Rankinston.
