02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Staf's vision is to ensure that the wellbeing and success of young people leaving care across Scotland is indistinguishable from that of their peers in the general population. We do this through policy influence, creating opportunities to network, sharing good practice, collaboration and building connectivity throughout the sector. Central to our work is the voice of care experienced young people.

Constitutional objectives
The company’s objects are: (1) The support and influence of best practice for the advancement of citizenship for young people who are, or have been, looked after. (2) Promote the development of skills for life learning and work and enable said persons to become full members of society.
