02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Epilepsy Connections exists to serve and benefit people with epilepsy and their families, carers and friends, and other people involved in their lives. We want everyone affected by epilepsy to have the support, resilience, and respect they need to live life to the full. We walk alongside people affected by epilepsy, providing vital support and encouragement so that they can live well and have their voices heard. Epilepsy Connections' purpose is to support people with epilepsy to access the care they need and to help create the circumstances in which they can flourish. We are committed to: Offering accessible, safe and welcoming spaces in which we listen to and value people affected by Supporting people affected by epilepsy to recognise and realise their full potential and actively involving people affected by epilepsy in the development of our work.
