02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity was set up to provide the medical equipment, services and facilities not otherwise provided by NHS Highland - it was also to protect and preserve the physical and mental health of residents served by the Torridon Medical Practice. We have a yearly AGM which is also attended by our GP's and any equipment or services they highlight as being required is discussed and a decision made as to if the fund can support this. The last constitution was deemed to be outdated and a new one was drawn up to be voted upon at the next AGM.

Constitutional objectives
To preserve and protect the physical and mental health of the residents in the area served by 'The Torridon Medical Practice' in the county of Ross Shire. In particular by the provision of medical equipment, services, and facilities which would not otherwise be provided in a timely manner by the Local Health Authority
