02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity is a support group for Cameron House in Inverness which is a specialist care home for people with dementia and exists to assist the residents having a full quality of life We do this by arranging a programme of entertainment by bringing in musicians, singer and dancers and the residents enjoy singing along and some also enjoy a dance, these events are greatly appreciated by the residents. We make a contribution to the residents Christmas presents. In conjunction with the care home we will fund additional equipment and aids that benefit the residents e.g. we purchased an interactive projector system which has many different functions and which the residents are making great use of. We continue to assist with the purchasing new plants and shrubs and maintenance for the rear garden. We work closely with the management and activities co-ordinator at the home to provide the most appropriate help we can.

Constitutional objectives
The objects of The Group are to relieve the needs of the Residents of Cameron House by enabling the said Residents to retain and regain the fullest quality of life. In furtherance thereof: a) To offer imaginative services by regular visits as individuals. b) To arrange regular visits by representatives of the Group seeking to encourage new interests and activities amongst the Residents, and ensuring the integration of the House and the Residents with the local community.
