02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
PEEK (Possibilities for Each and Every Kid) is a children and young people’s charity working across Glasgow. We are set up to improve the life chances of children, young people and families, particularly those experiencing poverty and inequality. We do this through our Play, Thrive and Wellbeing programmes, providing free and accessible opportunities from pregnancy and early years through childhood, adolescence and into young adulthood. Our work includes play and physical activity, youth work and volunteering, family and perinatal support, food and practical support, and opportunities for learning, development and progression. Our approach is people-led, place-based and built on trusted relationships. We work alongside children, young people, families, schools and communities to respond to what matters to them, improve wellbeing and relationships, reduce inequalities and create opportunities for people to thrive.

Constitutional objectives
To promote the benefit and to advance the education of children and young people, between birth and twenty-five years old, of any gender, race, ethnic origin, faith or denomination and whether able-bodied or disabled (hereinafter called 'the children and young people'), primarily in the City of Glasgow, especially, but not exclusively, through children and young people's leisure-time activities in order to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities and skills to enable them to achieve their full potential.
