What the charity exists to do
The charity, also known as the TV Foundation aims to help individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds gain knowledge and experience, supporting them in the early stages of their career and giving them access to valuable workshops and classes. The charity runs career development programmes and event based initiatives. The charity aims to improve inclusivity and diversity, provide opportunities for those who would not be able to access without assistance, maintain an archive of content.

Constitutional objectives

(iii) the preservation of materials of historical significance relevant to television and related media. (iv) the provision of education, information, advice and guidance to those members of the community wishing to work in television and related media. (v) the promotion, establishment and operation of other schemes of a charitable nature.
