Work to safeguard and extend the native woodland on the ground owned by the charity.

Constitutional objectives
(i) the conservation, preservation, enhancement of the natural habitat and the promotion of the environmental sustainability of the land held by the SCIO and adjacent land, including in particular native woodlands for the benefit of the public. (ii) the protection of the environment on land and water held by the SCIO and adjacent land and water with particular reference to features of special environmental, scientific or historic interest including appropriate management and the sustainable re-generation of the flora and fauna on such land and water. (iii) the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational facilities on land held by the SCIO with the object of improving the condition of life for, in particular the inhabitants of Shieldaig and its neighbourhood but also for the benefit of the public in general declaring that in furthering this purpose (iii) the Trustees should always have regard to purposes (i) and (ii). and (iv) to promote similar charitable purposes, objects or institutions in such proportions and manner as the Trustees think fit.
