02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Brownies welcomes all girls from 7 to 10 years old for nonstop fun, learning and adventure. Brownies follow our programme. Around 60% of what girls do in regular unit meetings (local groups where Brownies meet) is our programme. It’s created with girls and full of fun, adventure and variety. Our programme for Brownies encourages fun whilst developing new skills. They do fun activities, play games and earn skills builder badges, all while being supported by our trained volunteers who give up their time for free.
