Constitutional objectives
The organisation’s overall purpose is to promote the welfare of all residents of the Scottish Borders aged 60 or over. Within this aim our specific purposes are: 4.1 The advancement, inclusion and participation of the over 60 age group in citizenship and community development. 4.2 The promotion of all the strands of equality, diversity and cultures of older people by education and the provision of relevant information. 4.3 The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
