02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity was set up by a Deed of Constitution in 1854 to ensure that the church, situate at St Columba's Poltalloch, is maintained, used and occupied as a place of worship for the celebration of divine service within the Scottish Episcopal Church and subject to the jurisdiction of the Bishop of the Diocese of Argyll and the Isles. The Trustees are responsible for maintaining the building and graveyard, and for ensuring that regular services are celebrated. The church is also available for concerts, and for the celebration of weddings, funerals and other religious ceremonies.
