02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Friends of Clackmannanshire Heritage was established to advance the education of the public in and beyond the county by publicising, promoting, supporting, assisting and improving the Clackmannanshire Heritage Collection. It has, in the past, arranged an annual lecture programme, but the charity has, for various reasons, been almost dormant since the Covid-19 pandemic and the Management Committee is still considering its future. The Hon Secretary/Treasurer has, nonetheless, continued to do small displays and to work on the Heritage Collection in the last year and hopes to recruit other volunteers to help her and perhaps to arrange more temporary exhibitions.
