02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity exists to improve the wellbeing, confidence and opportunities of people in Govan and surrounding areas, particularly those facing barriers such as disability, mental health challenges or unemployment. We do this by providing community-led radio broadcasting, creative media training and hands-on work experience in a supportive environment. Through radio, podcasting, music production, youth programmes and community projects, we give people a platform to share their voices, build skills and connect with others. Our studios, volunteers and staff create an inclusive space where individuals can learn, grow and contribute to their community while developing pathways into education, employment and the creative industries.
