02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

LWC exists to advance the Christian faith and support the wider community, welcoming all regardless of background. We do this through worship services, pastoral care, community outreach and practical support. Our activities include providing assistance to individuals facing challenges such as age-related needs, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, or other forms of disadvantage, helping improve quality of life and social wellbeing. We deliver family community groups, outreach events, counselling and spiritual support to those seeking guidance or stability. Beyond our local work, we partner with and support charitable initiatives, homeless projects, charity shops and wider community links.
