02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our Brownie unit is part of Girlguiding UK, the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK. We provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment where girls aged 7–10 can develop confidence, resilience, and new skills. Through a wide range of activities, including crafts, outdoor adventures, and community projects, our members work towards earning badges that celebrate their achievements. We encourage teamwork, creativity, and independence while offering opportunities to try new experiences and build lasting friendships. Everything we do is designed to empower girls, helping them grow into confident individuals who are ready to make a positive difference in the world.
