Museum et up to inform and encourage understanding of the local area, putting on events and providing facilities for people to learn about our history.

Constitutional objectives

The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 For the advancement of the education of the general public, without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions, by provision of an Exhibition and a permanent record in the form of a museum and visitor attraction for the long term public benefit, comprising the Existing Collection together with such other objects, specimens or collections as may from time to time be acquired to celebrate the heritage of Eastriggs and Gretna. 4.2 To work in partnership with other organisations to achieve the above object. 4.3 To keep the community fully informed and involved in the development of the project.
