02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We are set up to help people with severe and enduring mental health conditions have a better quality of life and raise awareness to others. To do this we are a member led charity who use a person centred approach offering a wide range of activities and support to increase confidence, help in decision making and encourage independence connecting with other groups eg, home start, dads to be, health visitors, community councils and also local clubs and hubs. We focus on empowerment and resilience helping members discover strategies that work for them including a personalised programme of activities and the opportunity to build meaningful community connections that allow them to live their best possible lives.
