What the charity exists to do
We are an award-winning charity, tackling inequalities in Scotland We specialise in using the arts to tackle inequalities, improve health and as a way to excite, involve and create meaningful impacts for the people and communities we work with. Established in 1994, we have engaged across 30 of Scotland’s 32 local authorities and with over 300,000 people

Constitutional objectives
3. The company’s objects are:- 3.1 To advance the arts and culture. 3.2 The prevention and relief of poverty and improving people’s quality of life through creative engagement and prioritising those disadvantaged by inequality. 3.3 To advance education through the arts by encouraging and providing opportunities and facilities for people to engage in arts activities whether in the field of visual arts, the performing arts or otherwise and by providing training and skills development opportunities to improve life skills. 3.4 To advance health and well-being through creative engagement. 3.5 To advance citizenship and community development by providing third sector organisations with access to facilities and equipment and through conducting training, community consultations and place-making activities which shall promote community engagement.
